Templer's Park Waterfall and Batu Cave
This Half-Day Batu Caves Tour takes you on a journey to visit some of Kuala Lumpur’s best-known cultural attractions. The outing kicks off with a visit to the Malaysian Batik Cottage where you can see fine silk Batik garments being produced. Next on the itinerary is a stopover at an authentic rubber plantation before a trip to the well-known Selangor Pewter factory, where you can observe how this popular alloy is made, as well as purchase souvenirs to take home.
The last stop on the tour, and the most exciting stopover, is a trip to Batu Caves – a towering limestone outcropping just 13 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur. The caves house numerous Hindu shrines and is a famous landmark in KL. During Thaipusam the area is transformed into a jam-packed multihued spectacle; ascend its 272 steps to reach the top where you can admire the limestone formations and watch devotees pay homage to their respective deities.
